2007-2008
This season marked the first full season in Philadelphia for EgoPo Classic Theater, and there was no better playwright to begin their tradition of themed seasons with than the great Tennessee Williams. In homage of their former home of New Orleans, they started their season with Vieux Carré, a memory play set in the French Quarter, featuring a live jazz band. A rare opportunity to see Williams' final play followed, with a chilling production of Something Cloudy, Something Clear.

Tennessee Williams Reading Series
The Jacob Burns Classic Reading Series presented readings of Williams works by different companies from around Philadelphia, including: The Mutilated (Azuka Theatre), Suddenly Last Summer (The Lantern Theater), The Red Devil Battery Sign (B.R.A.T. Productions), A Streetcar Named Desire (Theatre Exile), The Night of the Iguana (Black Starr Collective), Pink Bedroom and 27 Wagons (Flashpoint Theatre), Not About Nightingales (The Wilma), The Glass Menagerie (Luna Theater), and Stairs to the Roof (EgoPo Classic Theater).
