The story of an American legend receives an original dime show retelling.

EgoPo's American Vaudeville Festival season at Plays & Players began with a retelling of the Jesse James story by a posse of women taking on America’s most infamous outlaw in a deadly roadshow. The legend of Jesse James was stripped down and presented as an underground dime show by creator/director Brenna Geffers in an installation set that encouraged the audience to grab a drink from the bar and explore the sawdust covered displays of taxidermy, frontier cloths, guns, and other western memorabilia before the show began.
